This piece was commission by the Pratt High School Choir in Pratt, Kansas, for their performance at the Kansas Music Educator’s Association’s annual In-Service Workshop. The poem was wonderfully crafted by my dear friend and collaborator, Euan Tait. Although there is divisi, it is very accessible with the right number of voices.
