This setting, in Latin, of Lamentations 3: 24-26 was originally written for the Benedictine College Service of Lessons and Carols in 2021. Note that there is a lot of divisi in this piece and somewhat challenging soprano and alto duet parts.

Translation: [...] while gentle silence enveloped all things, and night in its swift course was now half gone, your all-powerful word, [o Lord,] leaped from heaven, from the royal throne.
Be silent, all people, before the Lord; for he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.
