This piece was commissioned by the Longmont Chorale of Longmont, CO, a fantastic choir that I had the privilege of being their Artistic Director in the early 2000s. This piece was commissioned to celebrate their 75th Anniversary Season, and I was honored to be invited back to conduct the premiere. This setting of an Irish poet’s text is for SATB choir, piano, and solo cello.
