“The Miracle of St. Scholastica” was written as a gift to the wonderful Sisters of Mount St. Scholastica Monastery in Atchison, Kansas to celebrate the 160th Anniversary of their community. The piece is based on a text by my dear friend and collaborator, Euan Tait. It explores the story of the last night that St. Scholastica and St. Benedict were together, just days before her passing.
