The Passionate Shepherd to His Love
This piece was commissioned in 2012 by a high school choir in Loveland, CO. It was originally written as an a cappella piece, however, I have added a piano part. This piece is a setting of a Christopher Marlowe poem that explains all of the beautiful things a shepherd will give to his love. In the end, when she thinks of the line, “Then live with me and be my love” she is so excited she repeats it over and over to herself.
